Cherry muffins make for an absolutely delightful breakfast choice. The soft muffin texture, the fruity tang of cherries and the cinnamon crunch of the streusel, make these muffins just right for pairing with a cup of coffee or tea.
These muffins are made with fresh cherries and yogurt, but can be made with frozen cherries as well, if you think about making these outside the cherry season. The streusel topping is optional, you can not add any topping or use just a sprinkle of coarse sugar.
