The next time you need a raspberry dressing, please refrain from buying a bottled vinaigrette or dressing. You most likely get more unknown ingredients than you wish for; from thickeners, artificial colors, stabilizers to preservatives. Make your own; it’s easy, quick and only requires 5 ingredients, plus salt & pepper.

How to Make Raspberry Balsamic Vinaigrette
It goes without saying that you can make this vinaigrette in about 5 minutes.
Step 1 – Place all ingredients in a blender; fresh raspberries, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, light brown sugar, salt and pepper.

Step 2 – Pulse until you have a uniform looking puree.
At this stage you have 2 options:
- You can leave the puree as it, with all the raspberry seeds or
Step 3 – The second option is to strain the vinaigrette and end up with a smooth vinaigrette.

This vinaigrette is a fantastic alternative for so many salads, like this Martha’s Vineyard Salad, but it would also be a great sauce over pancakes, drizzle over sandwiches, or even in a smoothie.

- I prefer to pass this vinaigrette through a sieve for a more elegant ‘sauce’.
