A magic flavor comes from sauteed mushrooms with finely chopped shallot and a finish of a little bit of lemon juice. This side dish does not need a lot of additions to be perfect, what it does need is protection. Protection from being eaten straight out of the pan.

Ingredients
4ounceswhite button mushrooms
4ouncesbrown cremini mushroomsbaby bella
1/2shallotfinely chopped
1tablespoonbutter
1tablespoonolive oil
1/2tablespoonlemon juice
salt & pepper
Instructions
Clean the mushrooms. (NOTE 1)
Heat butter and oil to a skillet and cook until golden over medium heat. Transfer finely chopped shallot to the skillet and cook until translucent.
Add mushroom slices and cook for about 5-7 minutes. Stir regularly and see mushrooms turn golden brown and tender.
Add lemon juice, salt and pepper and cook and stir for 1 minute. (NOTE 2)
