Pasta with Chicken, Mushrooms and Walnuts rocks; it is a easy to make, and very flavorful; it is the walnuts that pulls all the flavors together.

Ingredients
8ounceschicken breast
4ouncespasta
1bundlegreen onions
1teaspooncurry powder
4ouncesmixed mushrooms
1tablespoonolive oil
1/2cupbasil leaves
2tablespoonscreme fraiche
1tablespoonchopped walnuts
salt and pepper
Instructions
Cut the chicken breast in thin slices. (NOTE 1)
Cook the chicken slices in water and salt for 5 minutes. Use this water to cook the pasta.
Clean and slice the mushrooms, the green onions and the basil and chop the walnuts. (NOTE 2)
Add the olive oil to a skillet and cook the onion until translucent. Add curry powder until fragrant, then add the mushrooms and allow moisture to release.
Add chicken, basil and creme fraiche.
Drain the pasta and add to the pan as well and mix. Add some pasta water if required and season with salt and pepper.
Divide mixture over 2 plates and sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
Notes
The easiest way to get really thin slices, is to put the chicken in the freezer for approx. 10 minutes and then cut it.
