Ingredients
4ouncestempeh(NOTE 1)
oil
salt & pepper
1pinchcurry powder
1pinchpaprika powder
Instructions
Cut the Tempeh in thin slices. About 1/8″ thick.
Place the slices on a baking sheet, lined with parchment paper. Coat the slices with olive oil and then sprinkle them with salt, pepper and spices, like curry and paprika powder.
Heat the oven to 400°F and bake the slices for about 15 minutes. Turn and bake another 10-15 minutes until crisp.
OR Heat oil in a skillet and fry the slices of on each side until brown.
Place the fried tempeh on paper kitchen towels.
Sprinkle with salt, pepper and spices and serve.
Notes
Tempeh is typically gluten-free but some brands add grain fillers that contain gluten. Please check the label is gluten-free is important to you.
